Posted on Google Bruno PrévotTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Posted on Google JorgeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. An exceptional experience — the best stay I’ve had in Colombia My experience at Hotel Casa Origen was truly outstanding from beginning to end. Everything about this place reflects care, quality, and professionalism. The hotel is immaculately clean in every area. The atmosphere is peaceful, elegant, and welcoming — a perfect balance between comfort and sophistication. The food deserves special recognition. Every meal was fresh, well-prepared, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The entire kitchen team clearly works with passion and consistency. At the restaurant, the service provided by Albeiro and Duban was exceptional … attentive, warm, and genuinely professional, making every dining experience feel personal and refined. The front desk team was always efficient, kind, and helpful. A very special mention to the lovely lady who welcomed us with such warmth and kindness — her presence alone made us feel at home from the first moment. The location is excellent: calm, well-situated, and ideal for a relaxing stay. The driver was punctual, respectful, and professional, making every transfer smooth and comfortable. What makes Hotel Casa Origen special is not just the facilities — it’s the people, the service culture, and the attention to detail in every aspect of the experience. Without hesitation, this has been the best hotel experience I’ve had in Colombia. I will absolutely return and recommend it with full confidence.Posted on Google Sam BVTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ve stayed at los naranjos properties for 4+ years. First time at casa origen, first the good: - great service, clean, large modern rooms, beautiful pool. The had french press coffee, small detail i love. The bad: - the dim lights above the bed didnt work, so you had to use the very bright side lamp at night to read. But it was just too bright and if you are 1.80m+ the light bulb is right on your eye sight. Id like to have a proper night time light to read in bed that is dim. - we arrived last minute as we saw on booking.com that they had availability. we showed the booking rate to the front desk and asked them to offer us a better rate to book directly. She called the manager and they refused to give us a better rate than booking.com fully knowing that they would lose money to booking.com instead of us booking directly. That was very weird to me, you rather pay booking.com money than offer a better direct rate? - there was a broken wooden step at the bottom of the stairs going to the bedrooms at the basement. Dangereous specially with older guests.Posted on Google Josep Navarro SorianoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Estuvimos una semana de relax y es ideal para esto. What can I say about this hotel? It’s simply fantastic. My husband and I have stayed here three times, and we’re already planning our next visit. The atmosphere is cozy and warm, making it feel like a true home away from home. The staff is incredibly helpful—I had some stomach issues during one of our stays, and they went above and beyond to assist me. Their kindness and attentiveness made a real difference. The menu is wonderful, with a variety of delicious options to enjoy. Whether you're craving something light or hearty, there’s always something tasty to try. One of the things we love most is that the hotel is pet-friendly. We travel with our dog, and it’s amazing to find a place where he’s welcomed and we can all spend quality time together. The property is spotlessly clean, which we truly appreciate. There are two beaches nearby, although swimming isn’t recommended due to the strong surf. Still, the views are stunning, and the area is perfect for walking and exploring—it’s peaceful, scenic, and very safe. If you want to visit the city, keep in mind that it’s a bit far, so you’ll need to arrange transportation. Thankfully, the hotel staff is super helpful with organizing everything you need. We absolutely love coming back whenever we can. It’s the kind of place that stays in your heart.
From private transfers to custom adventures, everything you need to know.
Absolutely. We welcome pets as part of the family. Because we are surrounded by pristine coastal flora and fauna, we simply ask that pet owners inform us in advance so we can prepare your suite accordingly and share a few gentle guidelines to keep both your pet and local wildlife safe.
We do not believe in lukewarm buffets or pre-cooked meals. Every dish at Casa Origen is crafted fresh to order using locally caught seafood, tropical fruits, and organic regional ingredients. From hyper-local Caribbean dinners to tailored dietary preferences, our culinary team prepares your meals live upon request.
Yes, we offer door-to-door private airport transfers. Whether you fly into Simón Bolívar International Airport (Santa Marta - SMR) or Ernesto Cortissoz (Barranquilla - BAQ), our private driver will meet you directly at arrivals for a comfortable, air-conditioned ride straight to our hidden gates.
Our rates vary depending on seasonal demand (peak dry season, holidays, vs. quiet green season) and booking platforms due to third-party commission structures and real-time availability. Pro tip: Booking directly through our official site guarantees you the best prevailing rate and direct access to flexible room choices.
Check-in is designed to feel like arriving at a private estate rather than a hotel front desk. While we are completely shielded by nature, we are easily accessible by road—located just a few minutes from the main entrance of Tayrona National Park (El Zaíno), giving you absolute isolation without feeling stranded.
We are tucked just 300 meters (a brief, shaded walk through our deep green canopy) from the wild shores of Los Naranjos beach. Because the open ocean here features powerful currents, it is ideal for serene shore walks, sunbathing, and raw nature watching. For safe swimming, guests can enjoy our private pool or visit nearby protected river-mouth lagoons.
Yes! Uniquely blending raw nature with modern culture, Casa Origen features a private skateboard halfpipe embedded on-site. Whether you are a dedicated skater looking to carve a session surrounded by the jungle or just looking for a cool, unexpected spot to hang out, the ramp is open exclusively to our guests.
Yes! The coastline around Los Naranjos and nearby beaches offers fantastic wave breaks for all skill levels. We coordinate private surf classes with local, experienced instructors whether you are standing up on a board for the first time or looking to refine your technique on the local reef breaks.
Absolutely. While we encourage total relaxation, we know modern travelers need seamless connectivity. The entire sanctuary is fully equipped with high-speed internet, allowing you to host video calls or stream effortlessly from anywhere on the property without losing touch with the outside world.
You can view our complete roster of adventures right here on the Experiences section of our website.
